Man accused of pulling gun at Paducah theater arrested

An Illinois man accused of pulling a gun inside the Cinemark movie theater in Paducah on Saturday has been arrested, according to Paducah police.

Officers say 64-year-old John Grabinski of Ozark, Illinois, turned himself in to Paducah police late Tuesday night. He was arrested on charges including first degree wanton endangerment, second degree disorderly conduct, fourth degree assault and menacing. He was then released on a $2,500 cash bond.

Police have said that on Saturday Grabinski was cursing at a 14-year-old boy for kicking his seat, after which the teen’s father got into an argument with Grabinski. The two adults then began fighting. Police say the father got the upper hand, and then Grabinski pulled out a gun.
