4 arrested on marijuana charges in Graves County

Four adults were arrested on marijuana charges and a teen was released to his parents a Thursday afternoon, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office. 

The sheriff’s office says the arrests were made after it got a call reporting possible illegal dug activity outside a home on Wright Street. When deputies got there, the sheriff’s office says, they saw that the teen was "highly intoxicated," two of the adults had marijuana, and two others had also been smoking it. 

Deputies say 20-year-old James Creason the Dublin community was charged with second degree unlawful transaction with a minor, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication. They say 19-year-old Jonathon Sierra of Mayfield, who was charged with public intoxication and possession of marijuana.

Also arrested were 22-year-old Whitney Vermast and 20-year-old Tyler Hall, both of Mayfield. They were both charged with public intoxication.
