Farmington, KY man died in lawn mower accident

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says a Farmington man died after getting into an accident with a lawn mower.

Around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to an accident on Durbin Street and found 79-year-old Neil Waggoner dead near a zero turn lawn mower.

Deputies say Waggoner was mowing that afternoon when a metal fence became entangled with the blade of the mower.

When Waggoner tried to free the fence from the blade, he was hit and ran over by the mower.

Family members found Waggoner’s body during the night time. The site of the accident was not visible from the road.
