Police officers make splash at local pool

Paducah Police Chief Brandon Barnhill made a huge splash in Paducah Thursday at the Noble Park Pool.

As you can watch in the video above, the chief took a cannonball jump into the pool while in uniform when he and other officers visited with kids from the Paducah Parks Department’s Summer Camp.

Department spokeswoman Robin Newberry says Barnhill and other officers jumped into the water after kids challenged them to a cannonball contest. They also treated everyone at the pool to free ice cream.
