Tree toppled by storms and hits porch

Rain and wind storms caused a tree to topple over into a house around the 4000 block of Maxon Road in McCracken County on Monday.

The homeowners said they are lucky it only hit their porch instead of coming into the home.

The ironic part of this story, crews were supposed to cut down the tree to expand Maxon Road but mother nature decided to do that for them.
