Road near Pugh’s Midway to reopen after rains prolong closure

A portion of McCracken County road closed since June 29 is expected to reopen around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a contractor expects to finish work Wednesday on the Massac Creek Bridge along Ogden Landing Road between Pugh’s Midway and Grahamville. KYTC says Ogden Landing Road is expected to reopen to normal traffic around 6 p.m.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says rain has held up the project, which was originally planned to finish about two weeks after the road closure was put in place.
