Kids beat the heat, sell lemonade

A group of kids is out braving the heat to help others cool off.

Kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Carbondale spent the day selling lemonade and popsicles, trying to raise money for their trip to Carbondale’s new splash park.

Ten-year-old Sincere Ousley says it’s pretty hot out, but he doesn’t mind being outside.

"I’m out here selling lemonade for the splash park. So, we’re going to raise money, and we’re hoping we’re going to have enough to go to the splash park," Ousley says.

The boys and girls club is fundraising to take 70 kids to the splash park.
