Search continues for wanted man in Massac County

The search continues in Massac County for a man considered armed and dangerous.

Police in southern Illinois are still looking for Benjamin Comer of Paducah.

The 26-year-old veteran is accused of robbing Paducah’s southside Wal-Mart and pulling a gun out on a person who tried to stop him.

He is also a suspect in a home invasion in Massac County.

Police are looking for Comer in the Brookport, Unionville, Mt. Sterling, and Hamletsburg areas.

So far there has been no official sightings.

Comer was last seen wearing gray camo and shorts.

The Massac County sheriff is asking everyone in that area to be cautious and call 911 immediately if they see him.
