Carbondale man injured after crashing into railroad crossing arm
A Carbondale man was taken to a St. Louis area hospital after he crashed his pick-up truck into a railroad crossing arm.
Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a crash at a railroad crossing on Boskeydell Road around 3:36 p.m. on Wednesday.
A pick-up truck had hit one of the crossing arms.
The driver, 35-year-old Joshua Manring, was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to a St. Louis area hospital.
Manring is suspected of driving under the influence and could face charges.
