DeSoto, IL man sentenced to prison for child pornography

A DeSoto, Illinois man has been sentenced to prison for child pornography.

On Wednesday, 25-year-old Burgess Endres was sentenced to serve six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He will also serve a period of mandatory supervised release of three years up to his natural life after leaving prison.

An investigation on Endres began on October 8, 2015. Police executed a search warrant at Endres’ home and seized computer equipment. On that computer equipment they found images of child pornography. Some of those images depicted children under the age of 13 engaging in various sex acts with adult men.
