Some baking mixes Sold At Patti’s 1880’s Settlement under recall

You may need to check your cabinets. Several brownie, bread, and muffin mixes sold at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement in Grand Rivers have been recalled.

All of the recalls are due to the possible presence of E.coli in flour distributed by General Mills. No illnesses have been reported to Rabbit Creek.

The recalled items include:
– Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread Mix
– Knock You Naked Brownie Mix (Chocolate Chips & Toffee)
– Million Dollar Brownie Mix
– Blueberry Streusel Muffin Mix
– Cinnamon Swirl Streusel Muffin Mix with Drizzle Icing

Rabbit Creek Products, which makes the mixes, says they sent the mixes to Patti’s in December of 2015 and January of 2016. So they wouldn’t still be on Patti’s shelves, but they have best buy dates of January 2017.

Ann Martin, Marketing Director at Patti’s 1880’s settlement says, "This product was sold as retail or online sales and is not used in any recipes or food items being served at Patti’s Restaurant. If anyone purchased any of these items, they can bring the label to Patti’s to receive credit for this item.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we put our customer’s safety as first priority in this matter."
