Paving scheduled for three state highways in Lyon County

Asphalt paving is planned to start Tuesday on sections of multiple state roads in Lyon County, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. 

KYTC says sections of Kentucky 295, Kentucky 730 and Kentucky 3305 will undergo paving work starting Tuesday, Aug. 16. 

– KY 295 from mile point 3.694 at the U.S. 62 intersection extending north to mile point 5.427 at J.C. Garner Road. 
– KY 3305 from mile point 0.965 near the Riley Road intersection extending north to mile point 1.748 near the U.S. 62 intersection. 
– Ky 730 from mile point 0 at the KY 903 intersection extending north to mile point 4.502 near the Eddy Creek Bridge. 

The section of KY 295 is scheduled to be paved on Tuesday. The section of KY 3305 is scheduled for Wednesday. The section of Ky 730 is scheduled for Thursday and Friday. 

KYTC says drivers will encounter one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. The work is expected to be completed in seven to 10 days if the weather allows.
