Deputies: Man facing drug charges after pulled over in stolen truck

A man was arrested on drug charges and a charge of receiving stolen property Tuesday evening, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say a Calvert City resident reported seeing his 2004 GMC truck, which was reported stolen to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, traveling on Epperson Road.

 The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says deputies intercepted the vehicle at the intersection with Benton Road, and quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs and synthetic marijuana, as well as digital scales were found in the truck. The driver, 23-year-old Jordan Heisner of Paducah, was arrested an jailed in the McCracken County Regional Jail. 

Heiser was charged with: 

Receiving stolen property under $10,000 – a Class D felony
Driving on a DUI suspended license – a Class B misdemeanor
First degree possession of a controlled substance on the first offense (methamphetamine) – a Class D felony
Possession of marijuana – a Class B misdemeanor
Buying/possessing drug paraphernalia – a Class A misdemeanor
Illegal possession of a legend drug – a Class B misdemeanor
Possession of a synthetic drug 1on the first offense – a Class A misdemeanor
