Police looking for man who walked away from crash with infant

The Poplar Bluff Police Department is looking for a man who walked away from a crash.

Officers responded to a crash on Tuesday at the intersection of 9th and Lester Street.

They found that one of the drivers had left the scene on foot carrying an infant child in a car seat.

Officers were able to contact the mother of the baby. The baby was evaluated by medical personnel and determined to not be injured during the crash.

Police are still looking for the man who walked away from the scene. He is 24-year-old Joshua Forbes of Broseley, Missouri. 

He is wanted for numerous outstanding warrants including being a parole absconder and leaving the scene of an accident.
