Children’s Discovery Garden coming to Discovery Park of America

Discovery Park of America in Union City, Tennessee is expanding.

The museum announced on Tuesday that it is building a brand new Children’s Discovery Garden on the north side of the park.

It will be over 23,000 square feet once completed and will include an outdoor music garden, sensory garden, place to dig for dinosaur bones, giant chess/checker set, and garden design to attract butterflies.

Construction of the $500,000-plus project is expected to start soon. The museum is planning to open the new expansion in early spring 2017.
