Lane reduction planned for road in Cape Girardeau

Traffic will be down to one lane on Magnolia Avenue in Cape Girardeau on Thursday, according to the city.

City spokeswoman Jessica Sexton says concrete work at Magnolia’s intersections with and Belleridge Pike and Magnolia and Rampart Street are the reason for the lane reduction. The work is expected to take about two weeks.

Traffic will be allowed around the work zones, but Sexton says drivers are asked to be careful in that area while work is taking place.
