Police looking for man wanted in connection with teen girl’s death

Poplar Bluff, Missouri, police are looking for a man they say is accused of leaving the scene of a wreck that caused the death of a 13-year-old girl. 

Police say 42-year-old Randel Sparks of Poplar Bluff is wanted on a no bond warrant regarding the wreck, which caused the death of 13-year-old Heavenly Hafford. Sparks didn’t appear for a court date regarding his Dec. 9 arrest on charges of leaving the scene of a wreck and tampering with physical evidence. 

Investigators say Sparks was last known to be living in the Ozark, Missouri, area.
