Woman hurt in McCracken County rollover wreck

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says a woman was taken to a local hospital after a rollover wreck on South Friendship Road Friday afternoon.

Deputies say 85-year-old Mickey Eastham of Paducah was driving away from Lone Oak Road on South Friendship Road when the wreck happened around 3:28 p.m. Friday. They say Eastham told responding deputies that she fell asleep.

Witnesses told emergency responders that the vehicle flipped end over end multiple times before it hit a tree.

Eastham was taken to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment of injuries described as "non-incapacitating."
