Here are six things to know for today.

Donald Trump is making a surprise trip to Mexico today. He will meet with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto just hours before delivering a highly anticipated speech on immigration in Arizona.

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio has easily won the Republican nomination to retain his seat in Florida’s primary. In Arizona, Sen. John McCain beat back a primary challenge from a Republican tea party activist to win the right to seek a sixth term in November.

People on Hawaii’s Big Island are getting ready for what could be the first hurricane to make landfall in Hawaii in years. Forecasters say Hurricane Madeline is expected to bring hurricane conditions within the next 36 hours.

The first commercial flight from the United States to Cuba will take off this morning from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. JetBlue will be making that first flight. It is one of several airlines approved by the Department of Transportation for roundtrip flights to Cuba.

Singer and performer Chris Brown bonded out of jail early this morning after being arrested by Los Angeles police. A woman reported that Brown pointed a gun at her face. Brown is charged with suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Brown has denied any wrongdoing.

All four lanes of the new Eggners Ferry Bridge will be open this afternoon. There will be a public walk on the bridge before the final lanes are open. The walk will be from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m./Noon.
