McCracken County road reopens after closure due to motorcycle wreck

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department is at the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle.

Deputies closed a section of Bleich Road and rerouted traffic after the wreck, which happened at 4:30 p.m. The road has since reopened.

According to deputies, 34-year-old Ashleigh Farmer of Paducah was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi SUV eastbound on Bleich Road with her three children when 51-year-old Ronald Hall, also of Paducah, crossed in front of her in her lane on his 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Deputies say Farmer was unable to avoid hitting the motorcycle.

Hall was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the crash.

Deputies say Farmer was cited at the hospital on a charge that she didn’t have insurance on her vehicle.

In addition to deputies, Mercy Regional EMS and the Hendron Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of the wreck.
