Local groups visits flooded Louisiana neighborhoods

Several people from the Local 6 region are in Louisiana helping with flood relief.

Lyon County Judge Executive Wade White and several local high school students are handing out your donations to families affected by the devastating flooding.

White says several families are still living in tents or under tarps because of mold in their homes. He says that he is amazed at the generosity of the people of Western Kentucky.

"It’s pretty good when you can know that we’re from an area that not only loves their neighbors, but they love their neighbors outside the area as well," said Lyon County Judge Executive Wade White.

White and his team plan to give out more items to families in the morning before returning to the area Monday night.
