Man accused of fleeing McCracken County deputies arrested

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says a Paducah man was arrested Monday afternoon after he led deputies on a chase through McCracken and Marshall counties.

Deputies say 29-year-old Chad Taylor wouldn’t pull over on U.S. 68 in McCracken County Sunday evening. He eventually stopped at a home in the 7000 block of US 68 in Marshall County and ran into a wooded area.

Taylor turned himself in to deputies on Husbands Road around 12:30 p.m. Monday, deputies say. He was arrested and jailed in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Deputies say Taylor has been charged with first degree fleeing and evading police, and additional charges are likely.
