Dejun Booker captured in Union County, IL

A manhunt for an armed and dangerous man in Union County, Illinois is over.

Union County Sheriff Scott Harvel says 26-year-old Dejun Booker was captured around 10:00 a.m. at a home at 1840 Morgan School Road near Ware, Illinois.

A plains clothed deputy spotted Booker walking along the road.

A neighbor who spoke with Local 6 says Booker didn’t live on the road, but might have known some people.

The neighbor says Booker knocked on his door, but he didn’t answer.

Booker was wanted in connection to a burglary in Ware.

The manhunt canceled classes at all schools Tuesday in Shawnee School District No. 84.
