Clinton man injured in motorcycle crash

A Clinton man was injured in a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of Blandville Road and Hines Road around 9:35 a.m.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Departments says 22-year-old Paul Jones of Clinton was riding a motorcycle west on Blandville Road when he came upon a vehicle that was stopped and waiting to make a left turn onto Hines Road.

Troopers say Jones went into the other lane of traffic and sideswiped a SUV being driven by 34-year-old William Jackson of Kevil. Jones then collided head on with a van driven by 16-year-old Joseph Bruner of Wickliffe.

Jones was ejected from the motorcycle and airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana for treatment of incapacitating injuries.
