Teacher accused of harassing students appears in court

Rick Massie went back to work today after pleading "not guilty" to accusations of crossing the line with two of his students.

Massie teaches at a middle school in Bourbon County, Kentucky.

Four different girls have accused Massie of kissing and caressing them several times over the past few months. The accusers are believed to be students in the school where Massie still teaches.

Massie walked on to Kentucky’s football team– and quickly earned a starting position. He was drafted in the second round by the Denver Broncos in 1987.

Because of Massie’s standing in the community, an outside prosecutor has been brought in.
