Two injured in motorcycle crash after hitting deer

Two people were flown from their motorcycle after hitting a deer in Franklin County, Illinois.

Illinois State Police say Brian Wyant and Holly Wyant were driving east on Park Street Road near Melinda Street in Valier Saturday night when a deer ran onto the road.

The motorcycle hit the deer, causing the Wyant’s to be thrown off.  The motorcycle sustained major damage.  ISP says the Wyant’s also sustained major injuries and were air-lifted to Barnes Jewish hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
