Three car crash on Lone Oak Road injures two

Two people were injured in a three car crash on Lone Oak Road in Paducah.

The crash happened just before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of US Highway 45/Lone Oak Road and Friendship Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says 37-year-old Tabitha Morris of Paducah was driving northbound on Lone Oak Road when she failed to see that the light had turned red, stopping her lane of traffic.

She went into the intersection and was hit by 69-year-old Patty Wray of Hickory who was traveling southbound on North Friendship Road. The impact of the crash caused Morris to hit a car being driven by 17-year-old Tia Riley who was traveling north on Friendship Road.

All three cars came to a stop in the northbound lanes of Lone Oak Road.

Wray and Riley were taken to a local hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
