Two 12-year-old girls have been charged regarding vandalism of Mike Miller Park that happened on Sunday, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

The girls were charged via petitions filed to the Court Designated Workers Office regarding the Sept. 11 incident, the sheriff’s office announced Friday.

The sheriff’s office says reward money that was offered in the investigation will be divided among three kids who wish to remain anonymous. The sheriff’s office also says the names of the girls who were charged are not being released because they are minors.
