2 arrested in Graves County ATV theft

Two men accused of stealing an ATV were arrested in Graves County on Friday, according to the sheriff’s department. 

The Graves County Sheriff’s Department says the ATV was reported Wednesday. Deputies say they found the ATV during their investigation hidden in a wooded area long the back side of the property at a home in Hickory. Deputies looked for a man they say lived their, 26-year-old Marshall Dowdy, and found him at a home near the county line.

Dowdy was arrested and charged with with theft by unlawful taking over $500, tampering with physical evidence, third degree criminal mischief, and receiving stolen property under $500.

Also arrested regarding the theft was 38-year-old Michael Fulkerson of Mayfield. He was charged with with complicity to theft by unlawful taking over $500.
