Witnesses: Man hit while intentionally walking in path of car
A man was hit by a car as witnesses tell McCracken County deputies he seemed to intentionally step in front of it.
Deputies say Montana Otey, of Ballard County, stepped out into Mayfield Road Saturday night, in front of a car driven by Terry and Lisa Ballard.
Otey was found bleeding in a ditch. He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses say Otey appeared to intentionally step from the shoulder of the road into the center of the southbound lane. The Ballards tried to swerve but hit Otey.
Deputies have not said if any charges will be filed.
