Paducah woman charged with assault after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend

One person was arrested and another person was sent to the hospital following a domestic assault in McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says they were called to 5031 Epperson Road around 11:24 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies say that 29-year-old Robyn Smith of Paducah and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Christopher Flores of Paducah, got into a verbal altercation that turned physical.

That is when deputies say Smith grabbed a knife and stabbed Flores. Flores was taken to a local hospital with incapacitating injuries.

Smith was arrested on assault 1st degree domestic violence and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
