Two arrested after Calloway County deputies respond to fight in Dexter

Two people were arrested after Calloway County deputies responded to a fight in Dexter.

Deputies were called to the 200 block of Lane Street around 11:25 p.m. on report of a large fight with weapons.

Deputies and officers with the Murray Police Department found a group of people on Lane Street. Most of the people were intoxicated.

Two people, 39-year-old Misty Thorn and 18-year-old Eric Thorn both of Dexter, were assaulted during the altercation. Both were treated and later released  from a local hospital.

Two other people, 20-year-old Lonnie J. Paschall of Harrodsburg and Colton J. Ziegler of Dexter were arrested for alcohol intoxication.

An investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
