Illinois hiring in preparation for winter snow and ice removal

Fall has just officially begun, but the state of Illinois is already hiring for this winter.

The Illinois Department of Transportation has started hiring temporary help to assist with snow and ice removal throughout Illinois this winter.

They are looking to hire for full-time and on-call employees.

Employees will be asked to work in emergency conditions at any time, including weekends, holiday, and nights.

Applicants must have a commercial driver’s license and submit to a criminal background check.
