Trial date set for man charged with murder of Mayfield mother

A trial date has been set for a man accused of killing a Mayfield mother.

Ezell Miller was charged with the first degree murder of Lauren Alexander.

She was found shot in her home on West Hale Street in February. She later died at a Nashville hospital.

On Monday a trial date was set for May 9, 2017.

He will be back in court on December 5, 2016.
