Arkansas woman injured in crash in Graves County, KY

An Arkansas woman was injured in a crash in Graves County, Kentucky on Monday.

Graves County sheriff’s deputies were called to a crash on KY 94 near the Calloway County line around 1:20 p.m.

Deputies say 63-year-old Vynn Stuart of Ashdown, Arkansas was driving west of KY 94 when she fell asleep.

Her SUV crossed the eastbound lane, ran off the shoulder, and hit a concrete culvert.

The crash caused a trailer she was pulling to separate, continue across a ditch, and stop after hitting an embankment on a second ditch.

The trailer had overturned once after separating from the SUV, but had stopped right side up.

Stuart was taken to a local hospital with non-incapacitating injuries and was later released.

She was traveling with three dogs, none of which were injured.

Stuart said she was traveling back to Arkansas where she is based as a search and rescue canine handler.
