Set up begins on holiday light display

A popular holiday tradition in Paducah is being set up.

Crews with Paducah Power are working in Noble Park to set up this year’s Christmas in the Park.

It takes time to get the half-million twinkling bulbs up and ready to go. The lights must be ready to go on the day after Thanksgiving.

The display will be up until New Year’s Day.

Your family can drive through and see the lights for free with a canned food donation.

Last year, you helped donate more than 77,000 pounds of food and more than $40,000.
