Road closed for bridge construction west of Madisonville

A road is being closed west of Madisonville for construction of a new bridge.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says KY 262/West Center Street will be closed just east of the Sports Complex entrance over Greasey Creek. This is between Bean Cemetery Road and Buckingham Place.

Crews will be constructing a new bridge over Greasey Creek.

There will be a marked detour. Construction is expected to be completed by December 1st.
