Lane restrictions on I-24 to start Tuesday

There will be lane restrictions along a portion of Interstate 24 in Massac County, Illinois for the next couple weeks.

The Illinois Department of Transportation says there will be lane restrictions on I-24 between milepost 25 to milepost 35 in both directions starting Tuesday.

Crews will be performing patching work. The lane restrictions will be in place for approximately two weeks.

Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes.
