Paducah commission approves 911 director

Retired police Capt. Ed McManus is back in public service after the Paducah Board of Commissioners approved hiring him at its meeting Tuesday.

Commissioners approved him as director of the 911 Communications Services Department.

McManus retired in 2008 after serving for 20 years with the Paducah Police Department. He also has experience as a real estate broker and financial adviser.
