Illinois Star Centre Mall put up for auction

The owners of the Illinois Star Centre Mall in Marion, Illinois say they are planning to auction off the mall.

According to a release, the current owners want to focus on their core business of residential and single-tenant commercial real estate.

Tranzon Asset Advisors will be auctioning off the mall.

Representatives of Tranzon will be at the mall at 11:00 a.m. on November 9. The deadline for sealed bids is 4:00 p.m. November 16.

The 392,304 square foot mall was built in 1991.
