Police: Thieves steal tires, rims from Carbondale car dealerships using cargo truck

Carbondale police say they want your help regarding thefts at two car dealerships that happened on Nov. 24. 

Police say sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on the 24th two people in a large, white cargo truck stole tires and rims off of vehicles at the Auffenberg and Vic Koenig car dealerships in Carbondale.

Police say the rims and tires were taken from several late-model SUVs for sale on the parking lots of the dealerships. They say the thieves targeted Chevrolet and GMC SUVs.
