Hotline set up to help with reports of missing people in eastern TN wildfire areas

A hotline has been set up to help with reports of missing people from the wildfires in eastern Tennessee.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says if someone you known has gone missing, and you believe they are in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Wears Valley areas, you can call 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Callers should be prepared to give as much identifying information as possible including names, phone numbers, vehicle identification, and last known whereabouts.

Information received will be relayed to law enforcement authorities working in the wildfire areas.
