A Union County, Illinois man has been arrested in connection to three armed robberies committed in Anna, Illinois.

The Anna Police Department says the man was arrested around 9:28 p.m. Tuesday night. His name has not been released at this time.

There have been three robberies within the past month in Anna. The first robbery was at the Farm Fresh Dairy store on November 17. The second was at the local Hardee’s on November 21.

The latest robbery happened on Monday when the Capaha Bank was robbed.

Banks employees said a man wearing a black ski mask, a red hooded sweatshirt and gloves entered the bank, demanded money and then ran from the store. The suspect never showed a weapon, but acted like he had one.
