Hardin announces cooling center ahead of high heat
With sweltering temperatures expected through the week, the city of Hardin, Kentucky, has announced the location of a cooling center that will be open through Friday.
In an announcement posted to its Facebook page, the city says the Hardin Community Center will serve as a cooling center for people in need from Wednesday through Friday, July 19 through 21.
The cooling center hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
