Two local railroad crossings to be rehabilitated

Two railroad crossings in McCracken County will be rehabilitated thanks to grants from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Secretary Greg Thomas approved $929,004 in grants to improve 14 crossings in the state.

The money from the grants will help reimburse 50% of the total project costs.

Locally, two railroad crossings will  be improved.

The crossing at 3839 Maxon Road in Paducah will have both signal and crossing rehabilitation done.

While the crossing at 2504 Lovelaceville Florence Station E in Paducah will just have crossing rehabilitation done.
