People get haircuts to help cancer patients
People are getting a haircut Saturday for a cause.
They’re getting their hair cut as part of the American Cancer Society’s campaign to provide wigs for cancer patients.
Sierra Llyrod donated her ponytail Saturday at Kentucky Oaks Mall in Paducah. She said it was something she wanted to help with.
"Because I wanted to donate it for someone else," said Sierra Llroyd.
If you want to help, you can donate your ponytail like Sierra did to help cancer patients at your local hairdresser. It does need to be at least eight inches long.
