Housman and Associates – About Us

Social Security / Disability / Workmans Comp

For forty years I have regularly been representing people with Social Security Disability claims, Kentucky workers’ compensation claims, and personal injury claims. I have tired injury cases in federal court and in all counties in the Purchase area of Western Kentucky. These have included motor vehicle collision cases, falls, and other types of negligence cases. I have represented persons before all levels of the Social Security Administration, and when necessary, have successfully appealed many of these cases to the federal courts, as high as the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, OH. On many occasions I have been an invited speaker to groups of other attorneys on the subjects of Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, or personal injury practice. I graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in May 1973, and I have personally represented thousands of clients with Social Security

Disability claims, Kentucky Workers’ Compensation claims, and injury and negligence claims. I am “A” rated based on peer reviews (the highest category) by Martindale-Hubbell, the oldest and largest lawyer rating organization. If you have been in a motor vehicle collision; if you were injured at work; if you are seeing Social Security Disability benefits, or any combination, or all three, my experience in handling all these types of claims will work for you. There is no charge for an initial office visit. All cases accepted are handled on a no-recovery, no fee basis, but court costs and case expenses for obtaining evidence will be the client’s responsibility.
