Former MLB pitcher, Heath HS graduate Daniel Webb dies in ATV accident

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, TN – Former Chicago White Sox MLB pitcher and Heath High School graduate, Daniel Webb died in an ATV accident overnight.

Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis confirmed his death over the phone.

Davis says it was a “tragic accident, and we should rally around the family.”

Police say Webb suffered a head trauma, and three others were injured including his wife who sustained significant injuries.

Two are in serious condition in a Nashville hospital.
