Paducah native Shi’Ann Jones advances on ‘The Voice’

PADUCAH, KY – Paducah native Shi’Ann Jones won her knockout round on NBC’s “The Voice” Monday night, singing “Who’s Loving You” by the Jackson 5.

She’s just 15 years old, but Jones is holding her own so far against a lot of talent. We asked her via FaceTime on Monday: Did she have any doubts before her performance?

“Yeah, there’s gonna’ be some doubts,” Jones said. “It’s not just gonna’ be a piece of cake. And you just have to, you know, focus on the positive things instead of focusing on the bad things. That’s what I just did.”

There’s also another talented young woman from the Local 6 area on ‘The Voice” —Anna Catherine DeHart from Sikeston, Missouri. She made it through her knockout round last week.
