PHOTO GALLERY: Grave of drummer boy from American Revolution marked at LBL

TRIGG COUNTY, KY — A ceremony was held over the weekend to mark the grave of a drummer boy from the American Revolution.

On Saturday, the Colonel Stephen Chapter Sons of the American Revolution performed a ceremonial marking of the grave of Nathan Futrell in the Land Between the Lakes area.

At age 7, Futrell accompanied his father into the Revolutionary War and is reputed to have been the youngest drummer boy who served.
